Returning to Ibiza for the 12th edition, International Music Summit (IMS) have announced they are collaborating with shesaid.so, the leading female empowerment organisation in the music industry. Together they aim to work towards gender parity within the electronic music industry, starting with this year’s IMS.

Taking place at the Hard Rock Café in Ibiza from Wednesday 22nd May until Friday 24th May, the three day event brings together industry leaders and artists from the international electronic music sector to inspire and be inspired.

The summit continues to identify areas where positive transformation can occur as well as encouraging debate and working towards change. The two organisations are uniting to break down gender stereotypes that are prominent in the industry whilst promoting and increasing the profile of the talented women within it.

“We are excited to renew our partnership with IMS this year as a programming co-host.” Says Andreea Magdalina, the founder of shesaid.so. “This gives us a greater opportunity to create more visibility for women and other marginalized communities in electronic music and beyond at one of the most forward-thinking music conferences in the business. Our relationship with Ben Turner and IMS exemplifies the shesaid.so collaborative ethos - to constructively work together to address the gender gap where necessary and propose solutions for the industry to adopt further. IMS has positioned itself at the forefront of innovation in electronic music and we are thrilled to augment the experience with our programming ideas.”
