Much to the anger of continuously tricked fans and dance music publications, Daft Punk have all but stopped touring these days.
It's a shame, and not only because we keep getting our hopes dashed by false rumours and terrible TV spots. But because Daft Punk live is something every fan should experience one in their lifetime.
So until Guy and Thomas decide to give fans what they want with an honest to goodness tour, videos like the one reddit user xerofoxx made are all we've really got.
Using color corrected "various HQ source footage," xerofoxx edited together Daft Punk's entire Alive 2007 concert from the Palais omnisports de Paris-Bercy arena in Paris.
Of course, that doesn't mean it's the kind of footage we're used to now. This was 10 years ago—the year the iPhone launched—well before smartphones with cameras were as ubiquitous as they are now.
It's actually not the first time someone cut together Alive 2007 footage. Vimeo user funkmotor did just that back in 2008 using audio from the Alive 2007 album. Though that video isn't high quality.
Check that one out here.
