Get Physical have moved from strength to strength over their 15 year span, releasing artists like DJ Pierre, Trentemoller, M.A.N.D.Y. and Booka Shade, as well as classics like “Body Language”, “Mandarin Girl" and “In White Rooms” over the course of their illustrious history, solidifying their position as one of the world’s key dance music labels since 2002.

And lately, Get Physical have turned their attention to Africa, taking Ryan Murgatroyd, Kostakis, Jazzuelle and Lazarusman under their wing to bring the cream of South African house music to the world.

Now the German imprint is launching a fully South African compilation, featuring 16 proudly South African tracks.

The compilation showcases a wide array of artists within the electronic music spectrum. Titled Africa Gets Physical, the album features heavy hitters like Black Coffee, Crazy White Boy, Jazzuelle and Lazarusman, and shines light onto lesser known South African artists like Vox Portent, Aero Manyelo, Thor Rixon, Floyd Lavine and Blanka Mazimela, adding to the ever-growing roster of nationally known artists gaining global recognition.
