London’s Freerange Records are coming up to twenty years of existence and in celebration, they’ll be releasing an exclusive five-piece vinyl compilation available for purchase this coming June.

Kicking off in 1996, the release is a tribute to the evolution towards a melodic, pad-heavy sound it’s particularly known for: “Initially [Freerange] was a mix of sample-heavy productions incorporating live musicians, flirtations with the broken beat sound and some ground breaking fidget house cuts from Switch and Trevor Loveys. Then, and most enduringly, the label settled into a rich vein of deep house.”

Beginning in style, Bulgarian techno DJ and hardware enthusiast KiNK features a previously unreleased track “Roads”. Followed by Detroit Swindle, Lancelot, and Soul Of Hex, the entire box set is a true reflection of the labels strength amidst the Deep House world. The full set is will be out June 10, followed by individual 12-inch releases throughout mid June and July. See the tracklist below:
