The year gone was a major one for Drumcode regular Alan Fitzpatrick, who leaped out from behind the shadows and on to the main stage as a major player in techno.
Now he's starting 2016 with a bang, making his own mark on illustrious fabric mix series for the 87th edition. Alan is a regular at the club behind the series, and the mix closely emulates his fabled Room 2 closing sets, full of dark twists and shimmering turns, all done in one masterful take.
For fabric 87, Fitzpatrick called on several labels and producers he's closely associated with, while featuring plenty of personal edits and rare gems. Running 23 tracks, the mix cuts through material from Scuba, Marcel Fengler, Truncate & Jimmy Edgar, Reset Robot, and Monoloc, with two originals and one as yet unreleased remix from Fitzpatrick himself.
Fabric 87 mixed by Alan Fitzpatrick will be released via Fabric Records on April 15th, 2016.
