Fear of Flying was set up in the UK autumn of 2006 by Jay Massive and Ben Micklewright (BLM) who met whilst working in one of the UK's most distinguished independent record stores, Massive Records.
Initially seen as an output for BLM's production, the label has since branched out taking in house / teched up sounds from other fresh talents such as Leif & Tim Gregor from the UK and Pawas / DadaBleep from Germany as well as drafting in more experienced producers in the form of Russia's excellent SCSI-9.
Shortly after the initial set up of the label, Fear of Flying branched out with their sub-label, cleverly titled Fear of Flying LTD, developed as an output for tracks that didn't quite fit with the deeper vibe of the main label. First track PinkNoize - Radical Specs being a futuristic disco groove in the style of Morgan Geist / Metro Area whist 2nd release DadaBleep - Ghipwe upped the energy levels with a peak time bomb.
With solid dj support from the likes of Marco Carola, Mr C, Craig Richards, Terry Francis, Radio Slave and a while host of others it looks like Fear of Flying are about to truly take off!
