In six years Stereosonic has moved into first place as Australia’s largest national music festival. Stereosonic 2011, in Sydney, broke all records with the largest recorded attendance of any music festival in the country. In that same year Stereosonic also sold out in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide
The 2011 tour saw close to 180,000 people attend the festival up 30% from 2010, which proved exceptionally outstanding considering the economic climate of the past year.
Now in its 6th year, Stereosonic is the brainchild of two Australian boutique event companies, with the vision to bring the best in ever-popular and new talent to a discerning music crowd. Their ethos is simple: Try to provide the best line-up, the best venues, the best experience, whilst improving each year at the best possible price. Stereosonic is Australia's largest electronic music festival.
In July 2012 the festival announced the lineup for its sixth edition which once again covered all bases to provide one of the most eclectic line-ups on Australia's summer dance music festival calendar.
