Born in ‘87 and teaching himself to mix from the age of 12, Subb-an’s musical education was enhanced by his study of Sound & Multimedia at the University of Central England. There he furthered his production techniques whilst progressing in defining his aural identity. His inquisitive nature and natural talent led to the development of his production skills and the showcasing of his unique sounds in live sets.



As resident and co-promoter at Below in Birmingham, one of the most respected bastions of House in the UK, Subb-an has continued to grow as an artist. He regularly plays alongside the likes of Jamie Jones, Anja Schneider, Clive Henry, Dyed Soundorom and Wolf + Lamb to name. As well as the residency, Subb-an has also played the likes of Back to Basics, The End and The Week End Club in Berlin.



Releases on labels such as Leftroom, B-Pitch Control, Immigrant Records and his own, newly founded, One Records UK have led to the likes of Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin and Luciano championing his music persistently. Subb-an’s first release on One Records has received rave reviews in Mixmag, iDJ, DE:Bug Magazine and Resident Advisor as well as airplays on Radio 1.
