Rob Salmon  

New Zealand born Rob Salmon is a DJ and producer best known for his releases on Deep Dish's label Yoshitoshi and for his mixed CD 'Selections' (4th Floor/ Northcott). A DJ since the late 80's, Rob's DJ sets are renowned, pushing the boundaries of contemporary club music. He has played at clubs and festivals around the world including nights at Centrofly, PS1 in NYC, Space in Miami, Zentra in Chicago, Bar Rumba London, The Big Day Out in Auckland and Chinese Laundry in Sydney. A skilled producer, Rob has collaborated with engineer Rob Rives and has remixed tracks by a wide variety of artists from Human League to Barcelona's DJ Micasa. After many years in New York City, Rob left the US in 2003 returning to his home country of New Zealand. There he hosted his own prime-time radio show on George FM. Rob has since settled in Sydney, Australia where he continues to DJ and is working on new studio productions along with regular shows on XM Satellite Radio.
