Resident of Pastilla Digital’s Hardpop Club. Ricardo Melendez was born in El Paso Texas and raised in Ciudad Juarez. He has set himself apart in the ever growing electronic music scene here in the borderland, with his true passion for underground music. His sets can go from soulful deep house to the most sophisticated sounds in EDM making sure to explore all genres of music.



His sound mainly comes from his taste in music and experiences he’s had behind the decks. He listens to an eclectic variety of other music such as indie rock, jazz, and classical. He plays electronic dance music in all its shapes and forms. Playing music has always come natural to him and he views music as the international language of love.



He is proud to say that he works with a great team of passionate individuals. Collectively they are a promotional and Dj group called Pastilla Digital. Founders of the world renounced Hardpop Bundesbar an electronic music bar based out of Juarez,Mexico. Due to the unfortunate drug war occurring in Juarez it has had profound effects on the music scene. The intensity of the Juarez people is indescribable and has set the bar extraordinarily high for all his shows. He looks forward to the day were he can see the Juarez/El Paso community and music scene live in a symbiotic world as it once did.
