BIOGRAPHY
Walking into the venue, it's the old cliche. Sweaty atmosphere, smoke machine, heavy bass and a packed dancefloor. But something is different tonight. On stage stands the female vocalist. Not just any girl but with stiking pixie short blond hair, as she sings, she controls the crowd like it was the easist thing in the world. Behind her three guys strum chords, turn knobs, stab synths, and more importantly bounce. In unison. Who's loving it more? It's hard to tell, but by sheer numbers on the dancefloor, you'd have to give it to the crowd.
Welcome to Radio Ink.
The history of Radio Ink isn't so important, what really matters is the here and now. What you do need to know is that in one form or another Radio Ink have been honing their performance skills since 2005 when Mic and Ant set up Ctrl-Alt-Del. The group has developed so that when you see Radio Ink, you are seeing a real live performance. 'Live' as in. Here. As in Now. As in Watch this mothaf**king space!
Taking the expereince they had in dance music with Ctrl Alt Delete, the introduction of Miss S lead them to progress from just dance music and into the world of live music. Driven by passion and combined personality Radio Ink create a blend of rock infused dance based, arse shaking unashamdley pop music. Hmmm, lets put genre’s aside for a second. This is music that makes you feel good. Makes you sing. Makes you rock. And more importantly makes you dance.
What makes people take notice, stand up and dance is Radio Ink's ability to bring together different elements and fuse it all together. Don’t expect them to stick religiously to a predictable diet of only one genre of music: that’s the opposite of what makes Radio Ink so exciting. With a musical presence and maturity beyond their experience Radio Ink are arguably one of the most talented and exciting electronic music acts to develop in recent years.
