Aged about twenty years, Leo Copet and Geoffrey Bougy the french duo from Reims have formed Monsieur Monsieur. They discovered the electronic music through Warp, Samsobeats, Rekids or Kling Klong.
Their influences range from Afro beat, minimal and Techno Electro for the sole purpose to make each one of their set a moment of discovery with rare, powerful and sharp tracks.
Gambler, their first track released on september 2009 by Coco Machete Records had the support of Brodinski, Sinden, CLP, Jokers of the Scenes.
They produced remix for Nick Campbell, Myd or The Shoes. In December 2009, they are the unanimous winner of the Turbo Peanuts Club Remix Contest! By Noob and Brodinski.
Matt Walsh spotted them and asked for a remix of his track « Honey Comb » which will release soon on Wax On Records.
Level 75 Records (Djedjotronic's french label), will release on April 2010 the new track of Noisebuilder remixed by Monsieur Monsieur. Their collaboration with Brodinsky for a Gucci Mane Remix got the support of Diplo.
The 2nd EP of Monsieur Monsieur has been worked with Filip Dean Jr (a part of Darabi’s band). Dirty Minded was playlisted by Camel and their new last track Orungsé ranked in the Top 10 of January 2010 by Matt Walsh.
