Aleister Crowley-reading, Encino Man-obsessed Ben Dietz, 25, is probably best known for ruling the US dubstep scene with his releases as Math Head, from the severe low-end pounding of 'Stagger Dub' (Pitch Black) or the twisted bassline ride of 'DreamTigers' (Terminal Dusk).
The wildly talented migraine champion also rules at cut-up electro house–DJs from MSTRKRFT to Acid Jacks cane his releases on Flamin’ Hotz and Kitsune (as Passions). His intense, seamless DJ sets have been known to include everything from Underworld and New Order to underground electro-rock bangers from Digitalism and Switch.
