German Grammy nominated producer and DJ Martin Buttrich has released music on iconic labels such as Four:Twenty, Cocoon, Poker Flat, Nervous and his own label founded with Loco Dice, Desolat. He has headlined the world’s biggest festivals such as Time Warp and Creamfields and clubs like Fabric, Womb, Cocoon, Panorama Bar and Amnesia.
He is one of the hardest working individuals in the industry today. A household name in the world of house and techno, his achievements and contributions to the dance music world are second to none. Buttrich has collaborated with the biggest names in music and has been nominated for a Grammy for his defining remix work.
Buttrich became involved in dance music in the clubs of Berlin and Hannover in the early 90s. He began producing at only 18 years old, and quickly taught and trained himself in the highest caliber of production. Buttrich has produced for Tom Jones, Bootsy Collins, Kelis, Depeche Mode and Placebo. His Azzido Da Bass ‘Dooms Night’ remix with studio partner hit the UK top ten charts.
His productions are the envy of producers and sound engineers around the world, intricate and inimitable. He released his debut solo album 'Crash Test' on Desolat in 2010 to wide acclaim. Currently based in LA Martin Buttrich continues to produce and explore diverse side projects, including his his second artist album and a jazz project called 'The Stoned Autopilot'.
Despite his many projects, Buttrich still manages to juggle a seemingly never-ending worldwide tour shcedue of live shows and DJ gigs.
