MarkoJux (Mark Baumann) purchased his first pair of turntables in 2004. It was at this point his appetite for electronic music really took off. Now adding to his performance with Rane Serato and Abelton Live, Mark has created a platform to play his own music, his own way. Over the last 2 years Mark has played at some of Melbourne’s Largest underground parties, also playing gigs in Berlin (Dumb Unit – Popkomm Festival), Stockholm and London in Oct of 2008. Mark has been writing music for the past 3 years, all of this motivation came from exposure to the awesome music scene he discovered in London from 2000 – 2004. Mark's productions bring together a mixture of deep techno/Tech House & isolated grooves; with an aim to produce post-modernistic music in order to create emotion through sound, scape and reduction.
Together alongside friends Daniel Filipovic & Lance Harrison, Mark has started Pinksilver. A fresh new label showcasing artists dedicated to releasing avant-garde electronic music; music that sits within modern, off-beat house, minimal, Techno & Tech House.
