LOPAZZ is definitely something special. Since 1997, LOPAZZ has stood for music and multimedia-collaborations with some of the biggest names in music and art. Stefan Eichinger ( aka Jason Mason, Terrorkid,...) is LOPAZZ. Born 1975 in Germany, married with the ecuadorian artist Mariella Landivar-Garcia, he runs the german multimedia-label 800achtspur in heidelberg and is known world- wide as a unique musician and film music composer.
His film music and electronic tracks, his remixes and the serious sound and design concepts let many people know about his versatility since 1999. In 2001 he remixed "MIAMI VICE THEME" and "MAGNUM THEME" together with REDAGAIN P. He joined DR.DRE and ICE-T on a CD-compilation, but in 2003/04 LOPAZZ showed it«s tightness with the club-hit "I NEED YA ! ", and the limited edition of "I NEED YA" published in Japan by the french fashion- label "COLETTE", a remix for germans biggest pop-act Xavier Naidoo and his "sons of Mannheim". Sven Vaeth, the godfather of dance-music, signed LOPAZZ for his mix-cd«s in 2003/04 and Top-Range Producers like Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos remixed LOPAZZ songs.
LOPAZZ releases his tracks on OUTPUT RECORDINGS, GET PHYSICAL MUSIC, COMPOST REC., COCOON REC. , etc. Since 1999 he«s composing for UNESCO«s Worldheritage Tv-documentary and other TV-Documentaries. Well, LOPAZZ plays almost all instruments by himself in his own studio in Heidelberg. But with musicians and partners on all continents he«s collaborating and keeps in touch with so many different scenes and markets.
In 2007 he´s the composer of the FOODHUNTER series on ARTE-TV. His new remixes for Richard Bartz (Kurbel), Kudu/The Juan Mc Lean (Nublu NY.C.) and Alex Flatner (Monoid/Circle) will be released soon. With Deafny Moon, the female voice on all LOPAZZ records he´s working on the first album.
