As a DJ he is making a name for himself playing all over Australia and living in Melbourne full time between 2006 and 2009. Playing and holding some of the most sought after residencies in Melbourne such as Revolver , Killing Time , Candy Bar , Brown ally , Roxanne Parlour , Q Bar , Circus and many other clubs each week . He perfected his ability to play to a crowd but using his own picks of quality tunes .
Since having moved back to New Zealand he has chilled out a bit more choosing to play the Quality parties and nights that he directs or friends are running. Thus leaving him satisfied and really putting time in his music selection. Generally playing of vinyl and cd's or 3 decks making an exciting but smooth transition of styles depending on where and to whom he is playing to. Playing many genres such as Down tempo , Funk , Hiphop , Deep house , Techno , Glitch hop and Dub . As a DJ Logan Baker is definitely one who can play from start to finish and leave the punter and the DJ completely satisfied.
As a Event Director Last MInute Events , Mixed Messages (Aus) well... Last Minute was something he came up with as every Sunday he would run Killing Time bar in Melbourne and they would always get all the internationals touring wanting to play there with no time to spare for promotions . Once the word got out we found ourselves having a full venue with in two hours and thus was Born Last Minute Events .
Logan has well over 200 parties under his belt, from local and international acts to festivals (Subsonic Music - NSW) , Earthdance - Sydney) & mini pop up outdoor parties . His parties have always been thriving with the right crowds that know how to party all night focusing on running till the late hours ( in Australia we would run 24 hour - 36 hour parties ) . In NZ its been a bit more relaxing however , Hosting fifteen international acts in the between Dec 2009 - March 2011 all with very successful turnouts. From Ink and Coherent , Be Club , Red Bar and The St Mathews Church in the city to the Whangamata Campground and casually last December 2010 under the Waipuna Bridge in Auckland . With another two events planned for June and August 2011 with more in the pipelines for some big artists through out the next 7 months Logan has a busy year ahead of him.
