Loco Dice is a tech house living legend, widely accepted as one of the world’s best DJs and producers. The Düsseldorf based artist spent the 90s as a hip hop artist and MC, opening for acts including Snoop Dogg and Usher, as style he still holds close to heart. Over time he developed his sound into his own brand of minimalistic tech house, dipping into world music genres and his hip hop roots.
Armed with his new club music style and exceptional DJ talent, he secured a residency at Düsseldorf club Tribehouse, which he would hold for a decade. It was at this iconic venue where he met producer and DJ Timo Maas, who consequently signed him to his Four:Twenty Recordings label. Dice made his production debut in 2002 with his 12" EP Phatt Dope Shit, the first of many collaborations with studio partner Martin Buttrich. The two would later found their own label Desolat. Dice also runs a family feel boutique artist management agency, Artist Alife, with Tom Preuss.
Outside of business, Loco Dice is one of the most respected and in demand artists in the industry. His legendary DJ sets mesmerize crowds around the world, and will turn any skeptic into a believer. Along with his Tribehouse residency, he held a coveted residency at DC-10 in Ibiza, and has made history at events like Germany’s biggest rave Timewarp and Cocoon in Ibiza.
Loco Dice was recently voted Vibe Magazine’s number 1 tech house DJ as well as countless top 10 appearances in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJ poll. Loco Dice continues to stand strong at the top of his game, a continual inspiration to producers and fans around the world.
