KillaHurtZ is a producer from Manchester who’s nailed the vibe of old school emotive hands in-the-air Hacienda house moments, all at the same time crossing breakbeat/2-step/4x4 boundaries in a more contemporary framework with such ease. He has been creating music from a very early age; when he was only eleven he was already micing

up drum kits, experimenting with Cubase and playing in bands.

He caught the dubstep bug while studying music tech at City College in Manchester where he met Joe McBride (Synkro) who gave him a jump start with a bunch of samples and he hasn't looked back. With releases on PlayMe2, Foul Play, Imperative and Eight:FX, KillaHurtz has been making waves. Snapped up Stanton DJ with an endorsement deal, he has joined electronic band //MIDNIGHT// and continues to push the envelope with his own productions.

Rooted in originality, KillaHurtz strongly believes in splicing genres to form new creations: his latest release, Wanna Be Free EP on Inna Riddim Records, with influences from 2step, house, and old skool, shows the latest incarnation of his restless creativity.
