Kenny Mitchell is the original Brooklyn Boy Wonder now living in England. He Djed his first party back in 1986, and hasn't stop since!
As a Producer and Remixer, Kenny has an extensive list of releases. He produces and performs under the names: !ALLCITY!, Deeptilt, Bus2Berlin and Haus of Ninja.
Kenny was part of the early NYC Underground Rave Crew and blasted out of NYC to regularly play at worlds best clubs and festivals. He started the famed Big Hug and Freaks N Friends parties in NY that are still talked about with great respect.
Kenny has toured with Platinum Selling Bands, and been filmed by MTV on 2 World DJ Tours with sold out shows across Germany, Japan and the UK.
The BBC (UK), Channel 4(UK) and VIVA (EU) have done TV features on him and his musical/spiritual journey.
Taking Green Velvet’s words from the track Shake & Pop… Kenny “likes Electro, House and Techno”, but also expect to hear all things Bass mixed with a NYC Swagger from this Brooklyn native. Straight club floor Bassline Electro Bmore Bangers with a hint of that UK Funky Dubstep is what you’ll hear in his Peak time Sets!
From Djing at Clubs around the world to Secret Warehouse Parties, Underground Train Station Raves, to V.I.P. Celebrity and Mega Charity Events, War Torn Bunker Parties in Berlin to 9 hour DJ sets in Africa…Kenny has played it All!
Yes even a teen disco right after headling Berlin’s Love Parade and the infamous No UFO’s Party.
Legend has it that Kenny was even booked by U2’s Bono and the Rev. Billy Graham all in the same week. (Both are true and Kenny went on to produce the Rev. Grahams’ Critically Acclaimed “NYC GET REAL” Urban Soundtrack)
Along side his solo work, Kenny also teams up with the famed Russ Jones of London’s Hackney Globetrotter/Future World Funk status to create Tropical mayhem on Soundsystems across cities near you!
After a 3 year production break, Kenny has returned with a ton of dance floor ammunition. He just released an EP on the London Super label it_Tizz Recordings, and just signed his next EP to Loungin' Recordings; home of heavy weights Trevor Loveys and Oliver $. He also just finished up a slew of remixes under his side projects BUS2BERLIN and HAUS of NINJA. Look out for those remixes on it_Tizz Recordings and Vicious Music.
In his down time, Kenny is putting together his dream team live band and show to tour mid 2012.
