I started my DJing career back in 1991 whilst working in Londons prolific flying records alongside some of the best DJs around today including Rocky and Ashley Beedle from Xpress2 fame. It wasn’t something I actually intended to happen, but I always loved music and of course a regular at Flying Club in Soho, I just wanted to learn how to put two tunes together. DJ Mark Wilkinson kindly put the hours in teaching me and it wasn’t long before I was holding my own behind the 1’s and 2’s.
In the beginning, my favourite place to play was the legendary “Full Circle Parties” held at the greyhound in Colnbrook on Sunday afternoons. Some of the best days of my life where spent there, honestly it was ace. I spent five happy (hazy!) years at flying records, which was my springboard and training ground for where my career is today.
Since then I have been spinning round the planet but my main residence is the much loved island of Ibiza. I am best known for my residencies at Circo Loco, spanning five brilliant years and now my weekly residency at Azuli, held weekly at El Divino. We don’t do winters! So we spend a good few months of the year in Asia and Australia, and feel so lucky to be able to do so.
This year I am so excited to announce my new uk residency for the fantastic Vertigo Sundays at Ministry of sound.
I am also one half of 4 tune 500 along side super talented Matti Schwartz.
