Cutting his teeth in clubs that had the same residents week in week out, Posters is one of the few DJs that’s as happy to build the groove in a warm up set as he is dropping peak-time bullets later on in the night. Working across 3 decks, dropping accapellas and fx tracks, his style cuts a swathe through the underground without ever losing sight of the dance-floor, and never afraid to surprise with forgotten gems. With a career that has traveled dark sweaty Manchester warehouses, Sydney clubs and antipodean boat parties, Berlin after hours and Dubai pool parties, Jimmy wears his musical influences on his sleeve; referencing anyone from Marvin Gaye to Prosumer, Louie Vega or Carl Craig. Following being resident at Sydney's leading techno night Lost Baggage, as well as running his own highly successful night [THE BOX] Posters moved to Dubai in 2010 as resident at The Sanctuary, one of Dubai's leading clubs. Now based in London, Posters continues to push deep house and techno.
