Jamie McHugh  

Jamie McHugh grew up in Glasgow and joined the Army at the age of 17. He was posted to Osnabruck in Germany where he would regularly visit Clubs such as the Omen in Frankfurt, Hannomag in Hannover and The Tribehouse in Neuss at every opportunity. Whilst home on leave he would venture to The Sub Club and The Arches in Glasgow. He started DJing when he was 18 and picked up gigs where ever he was stationed with the Army. He left the Army in 2005 to concentrate on his music career and has since gone on DJ all over the world whilst releasing tracks on the likes of Brique Rouge, Kill Brique etc with remixes for artists including Thugfucker & Josh Wink. His tracks have been supported by the likes of Slam, Justin Robertson, Laurent Garnier, John Selway, David Duriez, Sasha, John Digweed, Darren Emerson etc.

Jamie has continued to DJ all over the world in some of the most prestigeous venues - from Bon Bon in Shanghai to Gorod in Moscow, Jamie has impressed promoters and clubbers wherever he has been and is always invited back again and again.

2007 has seen Jamie join Variance Recordings in an A & R roll, where he has already begun to influence the labels output, he has also joined the UK's leading techno agency, Green Room Artists and with a raft of exciting new productions and remixes and a packed tour Diary for 2008, It's no wonder Jamie McHugh is widely regarded as one of most exciting talents around.
