Detboi, producer/dj from Dublin who start cutting his production teeth in the early 00's as the Xerox soundsystem with his production buddy speakertreatz, making cheeky cut ups and bootlegs, gaining recognition from mtv, erol alkan and soulwax!  
 
And has integrated his cut and paste background into his own productions  
 
The detboi sound draws from a various pool of musical inspirations, ranging from Early Uk 90s rave, jungle, ragga and hip hop whilst combining them with the bass heavy sound of today to give a rowdy 4/4 explosion of garage/Baltimore and bass!
 
Since his first ep dropped he has gained praise from the major players of the scene in
herve/sinden/annie mac and tervor loveys, getting played on the sound and sinden essential mix and various different radio plays.
 
Detboi has just released his come rest up ep on skint records and was one of the players on the massive collaboration project 'Machines dont care' making tracks with herve, sinden and toddla T. Watch out for machines dont care part 2 coming your way, with a superstar bass lineup!!!
 
His latest ep due out on cheap thrills label entitled yall want mo will feature collaboration with the gifted toddla t, along with his own dance floor monster 'yall want mo' and a sinden remix that brings some serious fiyah!
