D-R-U-N-K is the new solo project of the unconventional electro/techno innovator, Oly Grasset (FR), better known for his creative work, DJ, live performances and mastermind of the techno-rave duo MOTOR (CLR/Novamute/Dim Mak/Shitkatapult). The D-R-U-N-K DJ set is a mix of cutting-edge techno (from labels such as Turbo, CLR, Drumcode…) uplifted with a mix of electro house (Boys Noize Records, Lektroluv, Mako..) The D-R-U-N-K live show is one energetic wall of non-stop beats and hypnotic sounds. Oly (as MOTOR) DJ’d and performed live in the worlds best clubs and festivals including: The Womb – Tokyo Paradiso – Amsterdam The Rex – Paris Razzmatazz – Barcelona Fabric – London Berghain – Berlin Zouk – Singapore Flex – Vienna Hive – Zurich Mezzanine – San Francisco Festivals I Love Techno – Belgium Pukkelpop – Holland Mysteryland – Holland Benicassim – Spain Monegros – Spain Wire – Japan 10 Day Off – Belgium Dour Festival – Belgium Love Parade – Germany Arvika – Sweden Stages shared with Steve Aoki, Erol Alkan, Justice, Busy P, Depeche Mode, Mr. Oizo, Boys Noize, Daft Punk, and Kraftwerk . Since starting D-R-U-N-K in November 2011, Oly has been busy writing, producing and remixed/collaborated with The Micronauts, Marseille, Super Super, Eskimo Twins, Volatile, Rotze, with many more scheduled. Meanwhile, the new MOTOR single and album (released on CLR 17-04-2012) is getting a lot of attention from the music industry. The reaction to the first single “Man Made Machine” that features vocals from Martin Gore of Depeche Mode, has created a huge buzz among both Motor and Depeche Mode fans and the international music press. The various remixes that include Chris Liebing and Radio Slave have also found themselves high in both the Techno and Tech House charts.
