32 years old french DJ, Cosmo Vitelli, was born in Paris but spent his first 8 years in Africa.
In the mid 90’s, he got involved in different french indie bands, playing both guitar and bass. He soon felt attracted by the raising parisian electronic scene (later called « French touch ») and became DJ and producer.
He signed on the Parisian label Solid (with fellows Air, Etienne De Crecy, Alex Gopher…) and released an LP, « Video » in 1998, and many singles like the acclaimed « We don’t need no smurf here », « Party Day », « Robot soul » or « Icons ».
His long awaited second LP, « Clean », finally came out in 2003 through Labels/Virgin ( and Astral Werks in the USA). Then, he spent time touring as DJ in Europe, Japan, Russia, etc, and became remixer for the likes of Daft Punk, Cassius, Super Discount, Benjamin Diamond, Electronicat, Lacquer, The Film, etc…
In 2004, he created his own label, « I’m a cliché » and released material by producers Simian Mobile Disco, Tacteel, Aysam or Dirty 30. Alongside, Kitsune released Marco Dos Santos « Not on the guest-list », a parodic pop project he wrote and produced. He's also half of Bot'Ox , a duo with [T]ékël’s Julien Briffaz.
