BIOGRAPHY
Continuum is a 3-piece production group hailing from Melbourne, Australia, who formed in 2006. After a trail of previous production names, group members and brothers, Scott and Brent Miramz with long-time friend Andy Kidd, banded together to start producing an originally inspired blend of progressive electronic sounds..
With influences ranging from Electro, Dub, Reggae, Minimal and Progressive genres, this group is truly a reflection of their name, and are continually striving for new and fresh production techniques and sounds. Continuum’s live show is an auditory and visual experience, seamlessly dissolving between organic minimal and industrial techno/electro sound scapes, bleeps, squeaks and stabs! With performances at some of Australia’s biggest festivals and parties including Earthdance, Rainbow Serpent, Cairns Winter Solstice, LAB, Maya festival, Ostara festival, Maitreya and more..
The Continuum boys have established themselves in the Australian dance music scene in their first year of playing live, alongside many of Australia’s best local and international acts, supporting the likes of D-nox, Mike Monday and Jamie Stevens (Infusion) to name just a few.. Continuum’s clean blend of funky, psychedelic, electro-tech sound is continuing to impress punters at home and abroad with recent release’s on Moonbeam’s Disoma records, Australia's own Vinyl Pusher records and Finnish based label Planetarium records.
Genuinely nice guys with a somewhat quirky sense of humour, they will be found just as much on the dance floor, as in front of it. The Continuum boys are quickly on the move and are ones to watch with a solid string of live performances and an eagerly anticipated debut album out soon.
