Clouded Vision  

Clouded Vision is the duo formed between "Turbo Recordings" and "Bugged Out!" resident Matt Walsh and his long term friend and studio partner Steve Cook.

Their minds collided over a love for rare 80's New Wave and Acid House when they met in 2005. After a slew of remixes (on Turbo Recordings, Process Recordings and Mute) and original material on their label “Clouded Vision Music” they decided to join Meant Records for latest productions.

Matt Walsh's interest in DJing and production was fostered in the late 1990's, while he was at university and progressive house was at its peak.

As Matt began to develop his trademark sound of modern disco-infused electronic house and techno, an offer of a residency at East London's seminal T-Bar club set off a chain of events that would lead to Turbo Recordings don Tiga spotting him there in 2007. Following an invite to play "an all-acid party in a cave" in Montreal, Matt was swiftly signed to the label and has resided there ever since.

He has since toured the world, not only with Turbo, but as a long term resident of Bugged Out and autonomously, and can sit as comfortably in a peak time rave as he can in an extended build or delving late into the night.

Matt began his work on the production side as part of the duo Clouded Vision, formed alongside studio partner Steve Cook. Remixes on Turbo Recordings and Mute propelled Matt to set up Clouded Vision Recordings. They have since produced 2 EPs for the label and will be releasing music from new upcoming artists throughout 2011, keeping an ethos of slow tempo, modern electronic disco. Their work has been played and supported by the cream of the contemporary dance music crop including Tensnake, Cosmo Vitelli, The Revenge, Joakim, Mugwump, Trevor Jackson and Shit Robot.
