Since 3 years the duo Bukaddor & Fishbeck have been active in the current hip electronic music scene and have created quite a stirr.
While Bukaddor has been in the music scene for more than 10 years with international hits he has teamed up with a totally unknown weird guy called Tim Fishbeck. Tim Fishbeck is feared among his fellow Djs for his 8 hour sets and his love for after-hour parties where he is allways the last person to leave the party. To chase up Tim for the flight home is probably the most difficult task among anything which concerns their career.
Bukaddor und Fishbeck together live and have allready earned themselves a residency in the U60/Afterburner in Frankfurt and have played in clubs such as: Panorama Bar /Berghain, Tresor, Versteck, Inox Electronique and more. Recently we have seen them also DJ often back to back.
Together they have created the "BUFFI" following, as clubbers and friends have found a term that desribes the quirky relationship between them two. Their biggest Hits „Less“, „Campus“ and „Monofolder“ on MBF inspired Richie Hawtin and a lot of Djs to include their music regularly in their charts.
Now after five records on MBF, again their recent release „Tandem“ created a big wave. Ivan Smagge called „Tandem“ the best house track of the year 2009. Top djs who are supporting them right now are: Richie Hawtin, Black Strobe / Ivan Smagge, Huntemann, Sian (Sci –Tech, Pokerflat), Patrice Bäumel, Dave Tarrida (Tresor, Sativa), Danny Howells (Global Underground), Markus Kavka (MTV Germany), Laurent Garnier and Patrik Lindsey.
The cool symbiosis of house & techno, deepness and rave have given them a special profile in the landscape of minimal techno and house. This is certainly no beginners luck or a result of recent involvement into sound but is build on continuty to create the „right“ sound“ for years and years.
Bukaddor and Fishbeck are a Cologne duo but have their high-tech studio in Düsseldorf which features many put-together analogue machines Bukaddor has assembled over the last 10 years. These provide him with a sound, many producers are craving for right now. He is also working in his own mastering studio shaping sounds for other musicians worldwide.
The wide musical spectrum have given Bukaddor und Fishbeck access also to the motherlabel TRAUM on which they have released two records so far : Sceada and Carat.
