Borderline are Gerardo Niva and Álex Guerra, producers on TURBO recordings, and exponents in the Spanish electronic music movement. The complicity and connection of these djs in the cabin is so special that dance music has become its own language. Its sets are an ode to electronic music, with sidereal and primitive sounds that make you lose track of the sound system: pure music.
Its name stems from its connection and empathy with the public. According to the dictionary from Cambridge University, Borderline means "between two different conditions, with the possibility of belonging to either one of them". Niva and Guerra’s music link makes their sessions an inexhaustible source of energy and madness, with a groove, disco, new wave and psychedelic style so deep that can turn any rave into something mystical.
This tandem founded in August 2010 is an institution in mondo, Madrid’s electronic music club par excellence. In addition, Borderline is a paradigm of Goa and Lokkita parties, where, as they did in Panorama Bar (Berlin), in each performance seduce the audience with hedonistic sounds.
However, the true talent of these artists is their ability to innovate and evolve into the emerging electronic principles and its contribution to the Spanish club scene.
