Why Spain's Into The Valley Festival Has Summer's Most Perfect Venue
Into The Valley just dropped its entire 2018 lineup—and it’s pure fire. The Swedish-born festival is bringing names like Adam Beyer, Laurel Halo, Floating Points, Mr Fingers, Hunee, Omar-S, Oscar Mulero, and Amelie Lens to its incredible new location in Spain.
Taking place literally right on the beach in an ancient castle by day, Into The Valley has picked one of summer’s most perfect venues. And we now have never-before-seen photos of the 1000-year-old castle, so you can get a better glimpse of where you’ll spend three days in rave heaven.
Castillo Sohail is a 1062 year-old historic castle located on the beach of Fuengirola.
It's so close, you'll have super easy access between the main stage and the beach stage—where acts like DJ DEA, Lovefingers & Heidi Lawden and Molø & Drake will play.
Of course, from 16:00 to 23:00 daily, you and thousands of other fans will have the chance to see acts like DJ Seinfeld, Young Marco, Hunee, Floating Points, Peggy Gou and Mr Fingers (who'll play live) in this massive and historic arena!
Not all the action is in the castle. Acts like Detroit house legend Omar-S, Life and Death boss DJ Tennis, French veteran Chloé (who'll play live) and wildly eclectic Acid Pauli will be playing a short walk from the main arena in the 1,000 capacity Park Stage.
Not only that, but anyone looking for something darker, smaller and gritter need only take a short walk to the 200-capacity Container Stage, located in several shipping containers just south of the castle, featuring up-and-coming-techno artists until 23:00 each day.
There will also be an open-air Michelin starred restaurant located ON TOP OF THE CASTLE, with views of the sea and entire party. It'll the best meal of the summer! Find out more here.
