In partnership with Electronic Music Conference (EMC) Sydney, VibeLab brings you the return of Global Cities After Dark - a whole day forum focused on global night time culture and economy.

This year’s forum is themed around the idea of collaborations. The subject was chosen based on the notion that solutions are found and executed positively through collaborations between local and international communities.

Global Cities After Dark 2018 will extend its programme to include a welcome event and city tour on the evening of Monday, November 12. The forum will take place on the following day from 9am to 7pm followed by an afterparty that will run right up to 8.30pm.

The forum is set to feature keynotes by five international specialists from various fields involving night time culture. The sessions that have been confirmed includes the “NightCamp” group workshop, a keynote update from City of Sydney’s Nightlife & Creative Advisory Panel and eight Expert Sessions deep diving into specialised aspects of night time culture working collaboratively in an interactive workshop environment.

Leading the forum will be a conversation between Lord Mayor Clover Moore and Global Cities After Dark host Mirik Milan. Joining Sydney’s Lord Mayor and Milan is Detroit’s Night Time Economy Ambassador Adrian Tonon, global female empowerment leader and diversity programmer Amanda Maxwell from Boiler Room.
