Cavo Paradiso is Greece’s oldest club, and this year the 4000-capacity Mykonos venue is turning 25 years old.
Situated on the Aegean Sea, the club is famous for its beautiful sunsets, poolside dancing, and a main dance floor that opens to the sunrise. More than 400 DJs playing the idyllic cliff-side location since 1993.
A busy summer of events are lined up, with Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, David Morales, Loco Dice, Nina Kraviz, Marco Carola, Amelie Lens, Duke Dumont, Roger Sanchez, and Solomun set to play.
Back in 2001, John Digweed played a 12 hour set at the club, setting a country record—nowhere else in Greece has had anyone play that long. It's also been regularly selected as one of DJ Mag's Top 100 clubs.
The club is now open for the season, but the real action begins in July as the club opens seven days a week. Hawtin is playing the 25th Anniversary Party on Wednesday the 18th, alongside Paco Osuna and Manolaco.
