A new documentary out this month will explore the myths and realities of an electronic music capital city.

Featuring interviews with some of Berlin's original key players, including Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann and Love Parade founder Dr. Motte, as well as musicians like Pan-Pot, Marc Houle, Mathias Kaden and Juan Atkins—whose sound was highly influential in the immediate aftermath of the GDR collapse—Sound Of Berlin digs into the city's vital musical past, attempting to sort fact from fiction in the process.

Houle also scored the documentary's soundtrack.

Sound of Berlin Documentary - a journey through the capital of electronic music will be available through Apple Music on Friday, May 18th. Watch a trailer below.
