Berlin veteran producer Alexander Kowalski is releasing his newest artist album this month.
Called Cycles, the triple-vinyl pack and CD is out in May via Bas Mooy's Mord Records. Ahead of the stellar release, we premiere the moody cut, "Uprising."
With a career spanning more than 20 years, Kowalski has previously released four LPs before Cycles, almost all of which came via Heiko Laux's Kanzleramt imprint. It's a label he's also released numerous singles and EPs with, as well as his own Damage Music Berlin and Different Recordings.
Though his very first production was released on Tresor's Headquarters compilation (Tresor 094) under the alias DisX3. And by the end of the '90s, Kowalski was a regular at the Berlin club, becoming one of its first live acts.
Kowalski's sound straddles contemporary Berlin and timeless Detroit—always immaculately produced. Listen to "Uprising" below.
