Croatian festival Moondance is returning to the historic Kamerlengo Fortress for its sixth edition on August 9th, 10th and 11th. A pure techno festival, Moondance has invited some of the genre's best for a three-day bash on the Adriatic.
Built in the mid-15th century, the fortress sits on the edge of Trogir, an island city located just five kilometres from Split, and which was recently voted one of the world's most beautiful island cities by National Geographic.
Hosts for this year's edition include Tresor and Dystopian. Representing the famed Berlin club are Detroit's K-HAND, Jonas Kopp, The Analogue Cops (playing live), and Handmade.
Rødhåd, Radio Slave and Monoloc will bring Dystopan vibes to the castle. And further live sets from Bulgarian wizard KiNK and Francesco Tristano are planned. Spain's Eduardo de la Calle also plays, and more acts will soon be announced.
Moondance has purposefully kept ticket prices low, and the festival has a strict no-VIP policy, opting for a relaxed and open atmosphere throughout the weekend. The festival also prides itself on its sound system, with visual artists from around the world providing the festival's optical backdrop.
