The wait is finally over as the Livescape Group, organisers for cruise ship festival, It’s The Ship reveal the second, and last phase of acts performing on its fourth voyage this November. They have added a variety of acts and first up on the list is Armada Music’s golden boy Andrew Rayel, who will be joined by label mate, Omnia and Finnish duo, Super8 & Tab who have also championed the Armada imprint.
They have also added turntablist and DJ extraordinaire, Craze into the mix. A legend in his own right, Craze is the only solo DJ in history to claim the DMC World DJ Championships trophy three times consecutively, and this will be his second appearance on It’s The Ship. Another surprise announcement comes in the form of Panjabi MC, who made his name with bhangra/hip hop crossover hit “Mundian To Bach Ke”.
The remix that featured Jay Z did wonders to Panjabi MC’s international career as it led him to win a MOBO and an MTV Europe Music award. A slew of local Singaporean talents including hip-hop sensation Shigga Shay, party-starters, Jade Rasif, and Rave Republic, as well as Zouk club resident Matthew have also been added to this year’s roster.
It’s The Ship is also treating the ladies to the debut of one of the hottest male striptease shows on this planet, Chippendales. This troupe of hot men will be turning up the heat with their unique Las Vegas show that has constantly been touring the globe, and they will be bringing back their all-time favourite guest host, legendary model, Tyson Beckford.
There are also a string of pop-up themed parties on board The Genting Dream Cruise including the Onesie Party, Latex Love, Loco, Bloc Party and Jungle Fever. It’s The Ship sets sail from November 17th to the 20th from Singapore with a pit stop in Phuket before heading back to the Lion City.
