Cape Town electronic music duo No Method exploded on the charts earlier this year with their hit-single “Let Me Go”, hitting the number one spot on both 5FM and Goodhope FM.

The locally produced music video was then released on April 11th, and by July had received over 10 million views on YouTube.

After an already impressive run, the video continued its viral streak. And as of today, it has racked up just under 30 million views!

Made up of Claire Rose and Qatar native DJ Sam World, the duo announced that they had been signed to international music label Ultra Music earlier this month.

Due to its Middle Eastern influence, “Let Me Go” is a massive hit in Turkey and has subsequently attracted publishing deals in Turkey, Russia and Bulgaria.

The duo recently posted on Facebook, saying: “We are OFFICIALLY the most-watched YouTube content in South Africa!! Thank you all for the love and support! This is amazing!!

World Wide Worx has stated that No Method’s music video for “Let Me Go” is South Africa’s most popular YouTube video of the year (September 2016-August 2017). THANK YOU EVERYONE!!”
