Asia Music, one of the region’s most prolific music labels, is about to celebrate a momentous occasion this October. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the good people behind the label will be unleashing their 50th release, AM50 - 10 Years of Asia Music, a various artist compilation due out October 11th.
The release includes a track by the mighty Japanese sensation Ken Ishii, alongside other regional artists like Jakarta-based Darkbark, Borneo-born Hadiid and Manila’s husband and wife duo Alinep and Mica.
The Kuala Lumpur and Manila based label was first established in 2007 by Oscar Oka, Pav Parrotte and Alinep as a platform for regional house, techno and electronica DJs and producers to showcase their talent, and has featured a plethora of Asian artists across the last decade, including Aldrin, Akien, Nicky C, Jalebee Cartel, Dezz, Norman Chung and Shiro.
