Sway’s “In the Morning” radio show has seen the best artists in the hip hop industry throw down on his world renowned show. Rappers like Kanye West, Childish Gambino and Common, as well as South African rappers AKA, Cassper Nyovest and Kwesta, have all appeared on the show over the years for an interview and freestyle showcase.

And last Friday, it was 20-year-old Nasty C’s chance to give US audiences and a little taste of his talent.

The Durban native, who is in the US ahead of his nomination for Best International Artist at the upcoming BET Awards, impressed with his quick-fire lyrics that even got Sway out of his chair in disbelief.

As the fourth South African rapper to represent his country on this world famous radio show and having already won Record of the Year at this year's SAMAs, Nasty C is primed to begin his invasion of the US market along with the best hip hop talent South Africa has to offer.
