Dutch promoter Katharsis is using footage of a person jumping from the Twin Towers during the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City as part of a new promotional video for an upcoming event.

Reaction to the video has mostly been negative. Some are calling the video "disgusting," "disappointing," and "trash."

"No no no" one commenter said. "This is in extremely poor taste in my opinion" said another.

The video is set to music from Berlin-based drone duo OAKE, who'll play live on the first night of the two-night event, called Katharsis 2017. It takes place at Amsterdam's Warehouse Elementenstraat on August 4th and 5th.

UPDATE: OAKE said in an email to Pulse that they wrote the Katharsis explaining why they thought the video was inappropriate. Katharsis apologised, and said a statement would be issued later today.

Along with OAKE, headliners include DVS1, Rrose, Tommy Four Seven, DJ Stingray, Paula Temple, Adam X and Ron Morelli.

EDITOR'S NOTE: The video has been taken down. We have posted a screenshot of the video below.
