Potato Head Beach Club has become an important entertainment stopover on Indonesia’s idyllic island of Bali. Now the good people behind the brand have set tongues wagging once again with their latest addition to the iconic beachfront strip, Katamama Hotel.

While the luscious resort offers regular guests a unique island experience, the Potato Head family felt the need to give more to the community of artists through their newly curated programme, the Creator Series. It is an initiative where artists from all walks of music life will be invited to stay at Katamama to create music, visual art or work on social projects.

Last year the British duo Disclosure hooked up with the Potato Head crew when they headlined Sunny Side Up Tropical Festival, eventually returning to the island to get away from their hectic schedule. Unknown to many, they have been traveling to Bali for a number of secret shows. In between those exclusive shows, Guy Lawrence took the time to be part of the Creator Series.

The Katamama Suite was transformed into a fully functioning music studio that has been decked with a simple setup. The converted studio, gorgeous island views and laidback atmosphere of the island did wonders for Lawrence. Check out the first episode of the Creator Series below to see what he came up with in his new surroundings.
