In just a couple of months, the Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest will be launching off in Negril, Jamaica, and the newfangled festival has just released an ambitious and diverse schedule of events that suggests they’re aiming for something a little more than your usual island rager.
”The inaugural Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest aims to tackle some of the existential challenges humankind faces by stripping back materialism and focusing on core values such as mindfulness, through its unique wellness, gastronomy and music programming. A movement for change, attendees will embark on a weeklong personal journey of consciousness, conviction and growth"
Throughout the week (May 17-23), Tmrw.Tday will host a range of culinary programs, wellness activations, relaxing beach activities and quality musical acts for visitors to immerse themselves in. The wellness activations include guided meditation and yoga, fitness programs, conscious lifestyle speakers, film screenings, and medicinal healing workshops, all with foundations rooted firmly in natural health and sustainability.
Each night they’ll be hosting a Sunset Drum Circle at the Irie Soul Beach led by some of Jamaica’s most respected artists like Sam Maher, Acro Buddhas, Echomatik and a couple special guests. Among some of the musical highlights will be Protoje & The Indiggnation’s Reggae Revival Concert with Sevana, Toddla T, Yaadcore and Sam Maher, as well as Wolf + Lamb’s coveted Crew Love Beach Party that will feature Nick Monaco and David Marsten. They will also host other rhythmic dance parties like the Reggae & Dub Lounge, Strictly Roots, Negril Dub Cave and New Kicks, intertwining classic Caribbean and global sounds for a truly eclectic blend of musical styles to soundtrack your week in paradise.
Managing Partner of Tmrw.Tday Andrew Christoforou explains: "The most unique part about Tmrw.Tday culture fest is that its ultimate goal is to have people go within to better themselves and find true happiness...The planet is at a very critical stage and we believe that you must take care of yourself first before you take action to better the world.”
Tmrw.Tday’s Culture Fest will be a full week of immersion in colorful Caribbean culture filled with jammin’ reggae sessions, exotic cuisine, community-oriented activities and spiritual growth enrichment for anyone who wants a detox or escape.
