African house music night Rise have become a staple and favourite at the world-renowned Watergate in Berlin, showcasing true African-inspired sounds to the masses in the German capital.
Rise residents Floyd Lavine, Hyenah and Dede have been spearheading this concept, bringing the house communities favourite artists to experience the power of the African beat. DJs such as Osunlade, Black Coffee, Culoe De Song, Henrick Schwarz and Djeff Afrozilla are amongst the names who have contributed their skills to this authentically African house music event and helped make it one of Watergate's top parties.
With excitement mounting for the annual Amsterdam Dance Event, Rise has taken to the Kop Stoot Bar in Amsterdam for an official ADE satellite event, bringing with them African power en masse. Joining the residents on October 21st are Tsepo, William Djoko, Eliaz Mazian, The Lazarusman and Raoul K on the Main Stage, and Afrikaboomnada, Beumer, Nike Air Jordi and Mamba Radio in the Smoking Room.
Consisting of both parties and conferences, ADE runs from the 19th to the 23rd of October in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. The annual 5-day event sees over 2,200 artists flock to Amsterdam to perform in 120 of the best clubs in the city. The shows attract over 350,000 people to Amsterdam every year and has become one of the most important events on the dance music calendar since its inception in 1996.
