Corona has announced a scorching line-up for their Corona Sunsets Festival in Cape Town. December 16th will see three superstar DJs combine on one night at Corona SunSets Oval and The Bungalow in Clifton for a sundowner party like no other. The Corona Sunsets Festival has previously landed in Italy, Japan, Australia, Chile and, of course, Mexico and launched in Cape Town last year at the Grand Cafe. For 2016, Corona has dropped their anchor at one of Cape Town's most alluring beach clubs, the titillating Clifton Bungalow, for their sun-kissed summer bash.
Revellers will be treated to a trifecta of world-class headlining DJs, Duke Dumont, Nora En Pure and Sam Feldt at this stunning venue; keeping the beats banging and the bodies grooving deep into the night. Platinum certified British artist Duke Dumont's rise to fame was brought on by his chart-topping tune Need U (100%) and continued with a slew of well-acclaimed releases such as I Got You, Won't Look Back and Ocean Drive. He went on to receive a Grammy nomination for I Got You in 2015 and recently released two singles, Be Here and Worship on Defected Records in August 2016.
Swiss-South African artist Nora En Pure made waves locally and across the world with her 2013 release Come With Me which spent seven months in the Beatport Top 100. The song catapulted Nora into the stratosphere, taking her around the world to play in countries like Brazil, Germany, USA, Australia and even Finland. She is one of the busiest South African DJs at the moment, playing around 15 gigs around the world every month.
23-year-old Dutch DJ and producer Sam Feldt has risen to the top of the dance music industry in a very short space of time. After signing to the world-renowned Spinnin Records and launching his Heartfeldt Radio show he subsequently landed a booking at the mammoth of all festivals, Ultra Music Fest and went on to play at Snowbombing and Coachella in April, and at Sunset Music Festival in May this year. He is most well-known for his treatment of the classic Show Me Love by Robin S, which brought old-school house music to the forefront of dance music once again.
Corona Sunsets Festival brings to life the transformative moment of sunset through music and culture, and invites their fans to enjoy life and raise a bottle as the sun goes down – an uplifting and transformational moment when day fades to night and new possibilities appear on the horizon.
