Singapore has maintained its reputation as one of the most exciting cities to party in South East Asia, and it is a no-brainer as to why this is. As one of the first few SEA regions to develop a party scene, the Lion City had a head start in evolving it into what it is today. Apart from their healthy festival scene, the club life, and nightlife in Singapore is at its prime right now.
While regular club nights, and bar events are consistently drawing in the crowd, event promoters continue to curate unique experiences for their patrons. We have already seen numerous eclectic parties happening this year alone. Who can forget The Courtyard organised by The W Singapore and The Singapore Art Museum, or Zig Zach’s Chinese junk boat parties, Outcast.
Without a doubt there will be more to come in the coming months, but for now, check out this list of eclectic events that will be happening during the rest of August.

Urban Ventures are set to bring their patrons a Caribbean experience like no other in celebration of Lime House’s third anniversary on August 20th. Escape 56 is a collaborated event between BLACKOUT and Jagermeister. They have chosen a mysterious government building with an interior that looks like an industrial warehouse. With a limited capacity of 250 to 300, this will be one intimate party. Not to worry. Even though the venue will be revealed nearer to the event, rest assured it is in the central part of the city.
“This is the first time they've ever let anyone use the space for a dance party that goes on til’ late so it makes this party even more special,” Zig Zach wrote in the event page on Facebook. He has chosen a stellar lineup of local DJs for their debut on the September 2nd, which includes the like of Lily's Rose, Brendon P, Maurice Simon, Haan, and of course Zig Zach himself.
There will also be a special screening room to add a bit of spice to the party. You’ll be able to view works of local filmmakers from 7pm to 10pm. Keep a look out for more info on the event here.
