March 9-13 in St. Martin, a small island found in the Lower Antilles region of the Caribbean, saw the debut of SXMusic, a 5-day house and techno festival that took place on beachside enclaves, jungle treehouses, and all-night clubs.

With a lineup that stretched from Guy Gerber to Maceo Plex to Jamie Jones and an audience of veteran clubbers from around the world, the music was top notch and the vibes were strong, even in the face of torrential storms and the logistical struggles that are inevitable for a first time festival.

Thugfucker, lost in the jungly goodness of the stage at Palm Beach.

Those are some beautiful fans.

Ominous clouds in the background, while the Palm Beach posse parties.

Adriatique and H.O.S.H at Le Shore brought deep and dark vibes.

The beach party at Layla's got a little tribal during Lee Burridge

Lee Burridge and YokoO really like each other.

The ultra-exclusive treehouse party was like an oasis in the jungle.

Some trippy-ass shit going down at Tantra.

"Jeux non surveilles" means "let's be friends!" in French.

When the rains came down, they came down hard.

Check the guy in the front having a life-changing moment.

Turns out that iguanas love to rave as well.
