Now newly launched website Studiotime has taken the successful business model of Airbnb and applied it to studio time. The site became popular with travellers looking to find a bed for the night adn who did not want to pay high hotel prices. The site allowed people who had a room or an apartment to rent to connect directly with potential guests.

In this way, recording studios create profiles with their available resources and cost-per-hour, and musicians in need can search by area and price.
