1989 — the Second Summer of Love. How great must it have been to experience this first-hand? Hedonism, freedom, MDMA and incredible pioneering dance music came together to form an almighty subculture movement, which gripped the young masses.

For people my age, all we’ve got are the old VHS tapes ripped online, like this one, apparently with footage from the Sunrise Energy illegal rave in ’89.

It really epitomises carefree attitudes and people used to actually dance, rather than today's standard nod-your-head-and-look-moody moves.
