A dude from Korea with way too much time on his hands has made a record player out of Lego that actually works.

Constructed from more than 2,000 pieces of Lego and named 'The Planet', the turntable is powered by a Lego Power Functions Battery Box and the only part of the device not made from the plastic blocks is the phono cartridge.

Lego tires, used for making Lego cars were used at the end of the tonearm to help to distribute weight. Check it out below. Awesome!
